Founders Dinner is an intimate evening of conversation and connection with T1D Leaders and Champions in support of ConnecT1D Family Camp. Doors open for a wine reception at 6pm, followed by a brief program and a delicious 3-course meal prepared by local chef Jason Stoneburner. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about improving the lives of children and families living with Type 1 Diabetes. 


This event is the primary fundraiser for ConnecT1D Family Camp, our annual Camp in October that brings together children with Type 1 Diabetes (ages 0-12) and their families for a weekend of education, connection, support and resources that empower families and help build supportive community that lasts beyond Family Camp.

In 2017 we will be hosting our 6th annual Family Camp, which runs over 3 days/2 nights and costs over $60,000 to run for our 350+ family attendees and volunteers each year. While families do pay a registration fee to attend, ConnecT1D is dedicated to making Camp accessible to any family who wishes to attend, and have found in recent years that more and more families are in need of financial support to be able to make camp a reality. We need YOUR help to ensure we can continue to host a high-quality event that connects families to the latest in research and care, without having to turn away any families in need. 


When you join fellow T1D leaders and champions to invest in meaningful support programs like Family Camp you are investing the the power of community, helping children connect to psychosocial support that is a vital component of holistic diabetes care.
