ADA Camp Sealth is a week-long overnight camp for more than 60 children aged 7 to 16 with type 1 diabetes. ADA Camp Sealth is unique in that campers can attend with their friends and family without diabetes, allowing them to enjoy the fun of summer camp together. A team of more than 60 providers, nurses, nutritionists, counselors, and other staff work with campers throughout the week to help them learn new skills and gain confidence in their ability to manage their diabetes. The ADA provides all blood sugar testing supplies, insulin, pens/syringes and other diabetes necessities to campers during their week at camp.
