Dr. Scott Hammons, with sports injuries as his primary focus, became one of the team doctors for the Arthritis Foundation and the Leukemia Society, overseeing all the marathon runners and walkers. He has treated hundreds of marathon runners, walkers, triathletes, cyclists, high school and professional athletes. He attributes his success in treating injuries to his diverse background in chiropractic, physical therapy and massage therapy. Dr. Hammons is married with three children and is an avid swimmer, cyclist, and runner. In addition, he’s been keeping me moving for the last 10 years.

Dr. Zach Zugschwerdt is a sports chiropractor that specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries by integrating manipulation, soft tissue therapy, functional rehabilitation and strength training into his treatment plan. Dr. Zach has gained experience treating everything from professional athletes to weekend warriors and crossfit athletes at events all across the country. He makes it his priority to educate his patients on their condition and give them the tools they need to actively participate in their own recovery process.

*Discussion will not cover sports nutrition. We’ll leave that topic for another time.
