Students with diabetes must manage the disease 24/7, including the many hours spent at school, on field trips and in extra-curricular activities. Learn how to keep your child Safe at School at this free workshop for parents. You’ll receive helpful information about:
• The importance of supporting students in managing their diabetes at school
• Legal protections for children with diabetes
• The development of written care plans
• Strategies for collaborating with school staff to support optimal diabetes management
• Resources to help ensure your child is is safe at school
