Riding On Insulin (ROI) empowers, activates & connects the T1D community through shared experience and action sports.
Core programs include ski/snowboard camps for kids and teens living with T1D in three countries around the globe.
Participants with type 1 diabetes and their siblings/friends (type 3s), ages 7-17 are welcome to attend this one-of-a-kind event. Participants can be any ability level, skier or snowboarder.
The program begins Friday evening with an orientation session for families and volunteers, and the event itself takes place all day Saturday.
Parents, ROI loves that you've found them, and they would love to have your family out at a camp. Each camp has a Facebook group dedicated to it for networking pre-/post-camp, and each camp offers a parent networking session as well. Still trying to understand how camp works?
