2022 ADULT RETREAT COVID GUIDELINES
We are currently deciding on 2022 COVID Guidelines and reserve the right to implement a variety of protocols to ensure the safety of our guests. These may include vaccine mandates and/or rapid testing before entry. Please see below the minimum safety procedures and reach out to exec@connect1d.org with any other questions.
Orientation:
Participants will receive an orientation email prior to arrival at McMenamins to introduce key staff, discuss general Retreat rules and updates to any operational guidelines. These items will include:
· What safety measures are in place to help keep everyone healthy
· Ground rules for operating in “smaller groups”
· Handwashing protocols
· Physical distancing guidelines
· Mask wearing instructions and policies
· Mealtime procedures
· What symptoms to look out for and how to report them
Groups:
· Groups will meet in distanced cohorts.
Activities/Program:
· Retreat Activities may be modified to accommodate physical distancing requirements.
Assemblies – Cohorts will have a designated location in which to meet.
Food Service:
· We will follow ALL food service guidance regulations from the county in which the retreat is located.
· Mealtimes may be staggered in some cases.
· Pods/cohorts will be eating outdoors when possible.
· McMenamins is following the specific CDC and County guidance for each of their dining locations.
o Including reduced capacities
o More frequent cleaning
o Increased airflow.
Visitors/Returning to Property:
· McMenamin’s is a public location and therefore we do not have control of whom is coming and going from the property. Our reserved program rooms will not be open to the public.
· We ask participants to practice physical distance where possible during the Retreat.
Staff:
· Camp Leo + ConnecT1D Staff and volunteers will be required to have vaccinations prior to staff training.
· Camp staff will be subject to daily medical review, mandatory illness reporting, and temperature checks.
Staff will be required to:
· Attend COVID-19 specific training
· Socially distance from all non-assigned participants.
and Wear facial coverings in common areas, retail, food service areas, and whenever prudent/possible.
Conclusion:
It is important to note that this document reflects the current conditions if the Retreat were to start today. While we cannot promise that COVID-19 will not exist, we can commit to consistent safety measures and protocols being followed by our staff. We are committed to providing a safe outdoor experience for our participants. We will continue to update these policies and provide further detail when necessary.
